The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is with the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product isn't the only efficient means of studying. Their NCV programmes are developed for college students who want to commence their journey towards a satisfying career early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are presented at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These programs start off at NCV level 2 along with the bare minimum need would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade read more 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
